"Concentrated upon entry, this wine delivers luxurious notes of black currant, plum and black cherry. Finely grained tannins provide a round, balanced mouthfeel. The layers of juicy black fruit lead to elements of dark chocolate supported by a subtle vanilla oak spice that adds to the complexity of the wine and shows its finesse on the long, lingering finish."

My Review
I tried this wine for free at a wine tasting at Vintage Cellar. This wine was the last on the list and I had the highest expectations for since I'm typically a big fan of big body wines. On the first sip, I got a strong taste of black currant and cassis. There were also some earthy notes too. It was a relatively dry wine with some decent tannins. Typically, I'd drink this wine with some sort of cheese, but I didn't have any while I was at the tasting. Overall, I'd give this wine a thumbs up and if you like the classic California cabernet sauvignon taste you will like this wine. I'll probably be back to pick up a bottle or two of this since I thought it was a great value at around 25 dollars.
